SonicWall made some changes to the code in Gen 7 firewalls and if you're having issues with PPPoE connectivity not being stable, you need to amend the Ncp Retrans Time which is on the Protocol tab of the network interface settings.
SonicWall suggest changing to 2000, but some customers have had better results making it 1999.
