Support Services Reinstatement Keys
SonicWall requires continuous coverage for support agreements. Generally, new agreements are retroactively applied to the expiration date of the most recent warranty or support agreement.
SonicWall Support Services Reinstatement was intended for those SonicWall customers whose support had expired and now want or need support. If the support contract has expired and you activate a new 1 Year support contract, it will back-date to the end of the previously expired support contract.
Now if the support contract is expired and you apply a Dynamic Support (2 Years or 3 Years) or Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite (2 Years or 3 Years) on the unit, the new expiration date will automatically be 2 Years or 3 Years in the future from the day the key is activated.
